Gather your team mates and get ready for the Emperors Palace Inter-Provincial Poker Spectacular!
Series will run at Emperors Palace from 5 – 8 September 2019. 9 teams come together from all around Africa to take down the first ever Emperors Palace Inter-Provincial Poker Spectacular, with a minimum of 7 players per team.
Team members will participate in 2 freeze-out tournaments, where individual as well as team cashes are up for grabs. Teams will receive VIP treatment which includes accommodation in the 5 Star D’oreale Grande Hotel, player dinners and more.
NINE TEAMS, R1 Million FIRST PRIZE, R 3.6 MILLION IN PRIZE MONEY.
- Team members will participate in 2 tournaments. Total buy-in per player R 65 000.
- Points will be awarded to the top 5 cashes in both events.
- These points will be tallied and will determine the winning team.
- The winning team will receive their R 455 000 entry fee back with the remainder of the prize pool going to individual cashes
Event #1: R 25 000 Shoot-out
- R 500 000 FIRST PRIZE
- 25 000 Starting Stack, 30-minute blind levels, 2 Days
- One player per team will be seated at each table. 9 Tables will be in play.
- Once we reach the final 9, players will form the final table, blinds will reset and a new stack of 50 000 chips per player will be issued.
- No late registration

Event #2: R 40 000 Freeze-out

- 100 000 Starting Stack, 45-minute blind levels, 2 Days
- Random seat draw
- No late registration

The 9 teams will be made up as follows: 2 Gauteng, 2 Kwa-Zulu Natal, 1 Western Cape, 1 South Africa (Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Free State, Limpopo, Mpumalanga), 1 Africa, 1 World Sports Betting and 1 ShuffleUp Poker (Satellite winners).
Each team will consist of 1 captain and a minimum of 6 additional team members.
Teams will receive:
- Complimentary Five Star D’oreale Grande Hotel accommodation for the weekend
- Captains receive 5th floor luxury rooms
- Unique logo design
- Two complimentary shirts and a cap (with their logo design)
Satellite Terms and Conditions
*Golden Seat: R 40 000 FREEZE OUT Seat and R 25 000 SHOOT OUT Seat.
*Should a full package not be reached, the highest value seats will be given.
Inter-Provincial FREE ROLL payouts will be prize pool dependant.
All LATE REG will last for a 2 hour period.
A game will start once we have 5 players. Should there not be 5 players at the start of play, grace period of the first blind level will be given.
Seats won at the satellites are NOT TRANSFERABLE FOR CASH / ANOTHER PLAYER / EVENT.
Initial seat won to an event, cannot be broken up into smaller event entries.
Seats can be used towards higher value buy-ins and for re-entries should a player have 1 seat or more.
*Should a player not be able to attend the tournament a 75% refund can be formally requested a minimum of 5 working days prior to the start of the series and will be processed in or before 8 November 2019*
